Pahrump Honey Co is based in Southeast Pahrump, Nevada close to the Nevada California borders. Our Desert Honey is gathered by Bees working the Great Basin Desert and collecting nectar and Pollen from many desert plants like Yucca, Mesquite, wild flowers, orchards and Alfalfa fields.
Some nectar is also gathered from the native grasses and Thistle bushes, flowering ground covers plus the Cottonwood, Elm, and Mesquite trees. Where there is a flower in the Desert, there too you may find one of our industrious Lady Bees going about their business of gathering the elixir of life for you.
Pahrump Honey Co. is focused on providing high-quality Apiary products . Our Desert Honey comes directly from the Bee hive to you with only one stop at the cheese cloth filter station (NO STEAM FILTERING OR CLEANING) and then into the bottles and jars for your personal use. Our Raw Honey is never over-heated nor is anything added or taken away. Raw Honey sometimes takes on a different color, taste or texture due to the location of hives or the time of collection of the pollens and nectar by the bees. The dark color is from the minerals in the nectar collected by the Bee. Usually the darker the honey the more mineral value it contains.
